Hanif Fattehali Habib

Hanif Habib has an extensive auditing, tax and accounting career with experience in various roles spanning over 20 years. Prior to establishing his audit firm Hanif Habib & Cco., he served in leading audit firms in Tanzania.

Mr. Habib has served as the Chairman of Board Audit Committee at Alios Finance Tanzania Limited (one of the few finance leasing companies in Tanzania, registered with Bank of Tanzania) and is currently an Independent Board member of CMC Automobiles Ltd, Tanzaniaand Salama Microfinance Limited (a Bank of Tanzania registered microfinance institution).Hanif also holds a minority stake at the Diamond Trust Bank Tanzania Limited.

Hanif’s solid experience, across various functions, is a testament to his diverse background within Audit, Tax, Accounting and Management Consulting.

Hanif holds the following educational credentials:

• Masters of Science Degree in Professional Accountancy from University of London, UK
• Bachelor of Science (Honours) degree from the Oxford Brookes University, United Kingdom (BSc (Hons) in Applied Accounting). Class of Degree: FIRST CLASS HONOURS WITH DISTINCTION.
• Fellow member and Chartered Certified Accountant from the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants, United Kingdom (FCCA, UK)
  Certified Public Accountant in Public Practice from the National Board of Accountants and Auditors (NBAA).
• Registered Tax Consultant with Tanzania Revenue Authority (TRA).
  Certified Internal Auditor® from the Institute of Internal Auditors, USA
  Chartered Accountant (UAECA) from the Accountants and Auditors Association of United Arab Emirates
• Chartered Professional Accountant and Certified General Accountant from CPA Canada, British Columbia
• Active member of the Association of Certified Fraud Examiners (ACFE), USA
  General Tax Practitioner (GTP (SA) TM) – Registered as a member of the South African Institute of Tax Practitioners.

Hanif specializes in the delivery of audit and assurance, tax, management consulting and accounting services to the private sector and not-for-profit organizations in Tanzania.

Habib’s role has spans across a number of fields including fraud investigations, procurement audits, performance audits, project financial monitoring, internal audits, financial audits, investigative audits (special review assignments), reviews of systems of control, value-for-money reviews, pre-award surveys, compliance reviews, international group re-structuring, tax planning, tax audits, corporate law and financial management and planning.

Hanif is married to Nooreen and has four children. In his leisure time, he enjoys reading books and spending time with his family. He also has a passion for music.

Haikal Ramadhani

Client Company Secretarial Services Officer

Haikal works under the Company Secretarial Department and Administration Department. He helps in preparing and submitting documents with BRELA, TRA, NSSF, WCF and other authorities. Haikal ensures that the firm has all the administrative help in order to work smoothly. Interestingly, Haikal holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Procurement.

Haikal’s hobbies include that of extreme sporting, swimming, travelling and reading.

Peter is a holder of Bachelor of Accounting from the Institute of Finance Management, Dar Es Salaam, Tanzania. He currently is actively involved with Tax filing and Tax administration services.
